VANCOUVER, BC & NEW YORK, NY, January 16, 2006 - Ernex, a division of Moneris Solutions Corporation ("Ernex"), today announced the integration of its industry leading real-time loyalty and stored-value gift card solutions on the AJB Software Design Inc.'s industry standard payment processing platform. AJB's Retail Transaction Switch (RTS) and FiPAY payment application will be on display at the National Retail Federation 95th Annual Convention and EXPO in New York City.
Ernex integration into AJB leverages legacy point-of-sale ("POS") infrastructure for authenticating gift and loyalty cards, as well as for running any real-time POS promotions for the gift or loyalty card program. Ernex implementations for merchants can now be expedited by AJB in a shorter period of time, cost and effort.
"As more large merchants move to integrated payment solutions, it seemed only natural that we would integrate our loyalty and stored-value gift card solutions with a leading provider of these services like AJB," said Malcolm Fowler, Vice President & General Manager, Ernex. "Integrating into the AJB platforms will reduce the time it takes for us to launch our loyalty or gift card solutions for merchants that currently have, or are looking at, using AJB payment solutions."
AJB's Flexible Integrated Payment Suite (FiPAY) is the ultimate store level communication gateway interfacing the merchant's PIN pad devices, POS system, RTS network, and financial institutions. RTS is a multi-purpose transaction switch that performs real-time authorization for a variety of transaction types, from numerous sources, over any communication medium, and prepares them for any destination.
