VANCOUVER, October 14, 2004 - Ernex, a division of Moneris Solutions Corporation ("Ernex") and an industry leader in real-time loyalty and stored-value gift card programs, today announced the launch of its revised Strategic Alliance Program.
The Strategic Alliance Program is aimed at companies that can provide complimentary products or services for clients with Ernex loyalty and gift card programs. In return, Ernex works with these companies to provide gift card and loyalty program technology and real-time marketing programs that can enhance their capabilities.
"We're looking for companies that are interested in providing complimentary products and services and access to the industry verticals that we target," says David Falk, Vice President of Business Development at Ernex. "We want to work with organizations that understand the value of loyalty and real-time marketing at the point-of-sale as a compliment to their own solutions and as a benefit to their customers. Our added-value is allowing merchants to better understand and reward their customers in order to proactively foster loyalty and retention."
With the acquisition of Ernex by Moneris Solutions Corporation in November 2003, the previous Marketing Partner Program underwent some dramatic changes. Gone is the focus on processing partners, and in its place is a renewed emphasis on expansion into the US market and integration with leading POS and peripheral technology partners. The four new alliance categories are: Integration Alliances, Peripheral Technology Alliances, Complementary Service Alliances and Marketing Agency Alliances.
