Ernex , a provider of real-time marketing solutions, this week was named a winner of the VeriFone 2002 Innovation Award. This award recognizes achievement in the development and implementation of value-added applications that leverage VeriFone Inc.'s electronic payment solution. The goal of the VeriFone 2002 Innovation award is to identify and showcase value-add applications that help payment service providers attract new merchants, improve merchant retention, generate new revenue streams and lower the total cost of ownership. Ernex , recognized for its loyalty and e-gift applications, was selected as one of the most innovative "North American" solutions by a panel of VeriFone executives.

Winners were presented with the 2002 Innovation Award during the Global VeriFone International Partners Forum that took place this week in Puerto Rico.
