REPORTER'S SUMMARY

Ernex has launched its new Strategic Alliance Program. The key to this new program, which is designed for two classes of partners, focuses on promoting referrals and creating value-added opportunities for point-of-sale (POS) and terminal vendors; providing marketing and direct mail agencies with the ability to offer flexible, easily-adaptable, value-added real-time marketing offerings; and accelerating customer loyalty and retention capabilities across all channel partners. In support of this announcement IVI Checkmate, rPOWER, Moneris Solutions, and Cognos Inc. announced they are the first partners to join the Strategic Alliance Program.

STRATEGY

Today's news now makes Ernex's unique real-time marketing solutions available to Strategic Alliance Program members via Ernex's network - a turnkey ASP model. This announcement continues to underscore Ernex's overarching goal to bring value to merchants by allowing them to better understand and reward their customers in order to more proactively foster loyalty and retention. Ernex's approach is the most robust and flexible in the industry, allowing merchants to easily configure powerful marketing campaigns for their loyalty members in real-time at the point-of-sale.

DETAILS AND HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PARTNER PROGRAM

The Ernex Strategic Alliance Program is available to two types of partners:
  • Channel Partners including:

    • Point of Sale (POS) Partners, such as point-of-sale terminal vendors and point-of-sale companies

      • By embedding Ernex as a value-add into their own electronic marketing solutions, or by referring potential business opportunities, POS and terminal vendors can provide exceptional value to their clients
      • Ernex provides the partners value-added services to offer their customers, such as Ernex Real-Time Points (loyalty program) and Ernex Gift Card (stored-value gift cards)
      • Partners can increase the level of insight and value their systems deliver by helping their customers drive customer loyalty and branding activities at the point of sale
      • Current Strategic Alliance Program point-of-sale partners include IVI Checkmate and rPOWER (restaurant POS).

    • Marketing Partners, such as direct mail companies, marketing agencies and marketing service providers

      • Complements more traditional awareness efforts typically performed by marketing and agency professionals
      • Marketing Partners will be Ernex -certified to showcase the value-add they can bring to their clients

  • Business Partners including:

    • Processor Partners, such as transaction processor networks

      • Provide value-added electronic marketing solutions
      • Leverage existing connectivity and networks into merchant point-of-sales
      • Fill merchant demand for electronic marketing solutions
      • Current processor partners: Moneris Solutions

    • Technology Partners, such as hardware and software vendors and suppliers

      • Extends Ernex's strong informal partnerships with suppliers
      • Provides mutually beneficial associations with strong companies around Ernex's unique value proposition
      • Existing technology partners: Cognos Inc.
