Moneris USA Launches Gift Card Program Powered by Ernex

On April 3, Moneris USA launched a new packaged gift card program aimed at small business merchants that is powered by Ernex. Moneris' Gift Card Program provides business owners with new merchandise, as you can prominently display gift cards at the point-of-sale and around the store to attract new customers and increases impulse purchases. The new program is also extremely easy of use. To activate a gift card, the merchant simply swipes the wallet-sized card through the VeriFone 3750 terminal like any other payment card.

The improvements in this new program over the old Gift Card solution that Moneris USA previously offered include:

• Choose from a variety of designs
  • Gift Cards are available in eight card designs.
  • Gift Cards can be personalized with the merchant name or logo.
• Load any denomination
  • Gift Cards will not have any denomination values printed on them - merchants can load a value on the card at their POS based on the customer's wishes.
  • Merchants can load from $1 to $250 on each Gift Card.
• Get Your Reporting Online
  • Merchants can view a summary or listing of all Gift Card transactions including date, time, card #, transaction type, transaction amount, and their program outstanding liability.
