Theme-Restaurant Pioneer - Restaurant Associates dishes out reward points program to customers using onsite Internet technology

Ernex was tasked to launch, well-known theme-restaurant and foodservice provider, Restaurant Associates' "Inner Circle" loyalty program in February of 2002. The Inner Circle program, dubbed "New York's Most Prestigious Guest Program", is designed to further enhance the dining experience of Restaurant Associates' customers by offering them incentives, special offers and promotions, right at the point-of-sale, simply by paying for their meal with their standard credit card or an Inner Circle card.

Brasserie, New York
A favorite since 1959, the Brasserie has always been a meeting place for New York's business elite, celebrities, partygoers and rock stars.

By "registering" a credit card with any of the five participating Restaurant Associates eateries, members have the option of not having to carry their Inner Circle card to earn points. No additional hardware is required to operate the Inner Circle Program, as the restaurants' existing rPower point-of-sale systems (www.rpower.com) have been configured to connect with the Ernex real-time database over DSL (Internet) connection.

By utilizing Ernex's technology, Restaurant Associates is able to increase the convenience for members to accumulate reward points through their credit card, track reward points and personalize offers to members in real-time at Internet speed and operate the reward points program with existing point-of-sale systems and infrastructure.

Just Use Your Credit Card for Points

As an incentive for members to register their credit cards, the participating Restaurant Associates eateries will offer a one-time 500 points bonus for registering American Express credit cards and 250 bonus points for VISA, MasterCard, Diners or Discover cards. As members spend on meal and beverage purchases, they will be awarded one loyalty point for each $1 spent. Members can redeem their points at any time while dining at a participating restaurant as a cash credit against meals - at a rate of $1 per 10 points earned.

Where to Find the Inner Circle Points Program

Restaurant Associates is offering the Inner Circle program to customers at any of the following New York eateries:
